Big implications renewed for UT-OU showdown →
No. 11 UT (4-0, 1-0 in the Big 12) moved up six places in the Associated Press Top 25 after drubbing Iowa State 37-14 on Saturday. No. 3 OU (4-0, 1-0) dropped a spot after blowing out Ball State 62-6. But regardless of the rankings, the winner of the Longhorns-Sooners game can almost always count on being in the national title hunt.

Don’t fret over Longhorn Network– at least, not... →
As if Texas fans didn’t have enough to grip about in the wake of last year’s 5-7 finish, it appears, based on some of the messages sent my way, that they’re starting to get stressed out about availability of the Longhorn Network on satellite or cable.

Hamilton OL Westerman still hooked by 'Horns
Despite Texas’ free fall in college football, Hamilton All-American offensive tackle Christian Westerman still intends to sign with the Longhorns in February, his father Chris reiterated in an email to me today.
There’s been rumor going around that the 6-foot-5, 295-pound Westerman may be re-thinking the commitment he made last spring with Texas at 4-5 and having a losing season for...
